There are currently no extensions available at this time. An extension of benefits must be authorized by a vote of Congress. Although your unemployment benefits may have run out, there are still other resources that may be available to you. 


Colorado Workforce Centers offer a comprehensive package of resources to get you on a path to employment opportunities. Our workforce centers offer job fairs and employer hiring events. Each workforce center has a fully-equipped Resource Center offering telephones, copy machines, and computers with free Internet access -- all the tools you need for a successful job search.

Health & Nutrition Assistance

The Colorado Program Eligibility and Application Kit (PEAK) is a quick and easy way for people in Colorado to get answers to questions on health, nutrition, and other assistance programs. PEAK> 

Food Assistance

The Food Assistance Program provides food benefits to low-income households. Electronic Benefit Transfer (EBT) cards are issued and are used like cash at most grocery stores to buy food, ensuring you have access to a healthy diet.
Food Assistance applicants should contact the County Department of Human Services to apply for Food Assistance Benefits. However, individuals can contact the State Food Assistance program staff via the information provided below:
