The Office of Behavioral Health will be hosting four Regional Opioid Crisis Response Forums across the state in mid-September through October. The forums are set for Grand Junction (Sept. 12), Alamosa (Sept. 20), Pueblo (Oct. 11) and Loveland (Oct. 24).

The forums will provide an overview of opioid use disorder, medication-assisted treatment and the opioid crisis nationally and in Colorado, and will also identify treatment gaps using current data. The forums' main focus will be on the opioid crisis in local communities and how it compares to the statewide and national crisis. Further discussion will include progress updates and the future direction of the State Targeted Response to Opioid Crisis grant, Medication-Assisted Treatment Prescription Drug and Opioid Addiction Programs grant, and Office of Behavioral Health and Colorado Consortium for Prescription Drug Abuse Prevention efforts beyond these grants.
