Colorado State Board of Human Services is Seeking Applications

The Colorado State Board of Human Services is seeking applications for an open seat. Members are appointed by the Governor and confirmed by the Senate to serve a four-year term.

The Colorado State Board of Human Services is a nine-member board that has independent authority to adopt rules for programs administered and services provided by the Colorado Department of Human Services. The board consists of three County Commissioners, five public members and one member who is either a person with a disability, a family member of a person with a disability or a member of an advocacy group for persons with a disability.  

State Board members are responsible for reviewing department rules and attending monthly meetings held on the first Friday of each month. Meetings are often held around the state in different counties.
