Why is HB18-1044 needed?
The Colorado Children's Trust Fund (CCTF) was originally created with a broad goal of raising funds to help prevent child abuse throughout Colorado. What will HB18-1044 do?
- Set up a 501(c)(3) arm of the Colorado Children's Trust Fund to bring in more resources from charitable groups to support prevention of child abuse and neglect at local levels.
- Conduct research, educate providers and develop best practices from evidence-based strategies.
- Strengthen membership on the CCTF board.
