The Adoption Steering Committee is a subcommittee of the Child Welfare Executive Leadership Council. This steering committee will meet routinely to explore, develop, and guide a shared work towards ensuring children and youth who have achieved permanency through adoption, and their families, are receiving the services they need to prevent re-abuse and re-entry into the child welfare system. These efforts will promote sustainable permanency, and decrease re-entry and reliance on the child welfare system due to adoption and/or relative guardianship dissolution.
This steering committee will report recommendations to the Child Welfare Executive Leadership Council.
