Youth Volleyball

This program is for boys and girls wanting to participate in an introductory Youth Volleyball League. The purpose of the Cañon City Recreation District Youth Volleyball program is to emphasize skill development, fair play, sportsmanship, and fun. Each participant will play in each game, learning basic volleyball fundamentals and rules.  The league schedules and standings are listed on the links at the bottom of this page.

Elementary League:  9 - 11 Year's of Age

Middle School League: 12 - 13 year's of Age

***If your child is 14 and going into 8th grade, he/she is eligible to play***

PRACTICES: Mondays or Tuesdays at Harrison School Gym starting May 13th
GAMES: Thursdays at Harrison School Gym starting May 30th
FEES: $45 (In-District) $60 (Out-of-District)


12 - 13 Year Old Player's Clinic

Players who are playing in the Middle School volleyball league must attend the player evaluation clinic.  The purpose of the clinic is to provide evalutions for the draft in order to make the teams as fair as possible.  Players must be registered and attend the clinic to be eligible for the draft.  All registered players will be placed on a team.  Out of District players need not to attend.
Date: Thursday, May 9th at Harrison School Gym
Times: 13 Year olds at 5:30
              12 Year olds at 6:30
