Pathfinder Regional Park

Pathfinder Park opened in the fall of 2007 and over the past 7 plus years a lot of improvements have been made, thanks in part to multiple grants from Great Outdoors Colorado and the Gates Foundation. We have also received a tremendous amount of help from the community in the form of monetary donations, in-kind donations, and labor. The Miners Pavilion is booked several weekends each month and the playground is busy throughout the week, especially on weekends. The fishing pond has become a popular place not only for fishing, but for parties and even weddings. Trail additions and bridges have been made thanks to the Canon City High School Civics classes and local Boy Scout Troops. Pathfinder Park is home to the Recreation District's soccer program and other special events including the annual flag football Turkey Bowl.
