The Cañon City Area Recreation and Park District is accepting applications for Kids Klub Director.
The responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Administering, organizing, coordinating, marketing and evaluating the District’s Kids Klub school-age childcare program at multiple sites;
- Tracking Kids Klub attendance, billing and payments;
- Supervising and assigning tasks to full and part-time staff;
- Preparing and maintaining budget for program
Education and experience requirements (one of the following):
1) Bachelor’s Degree in a related field (recreation, outdoor education, education  
     with a specialty in art, elementary or early childhood education, or a subject in 
     the human service field); or
2) Two years of college training and six months of satisfactory and verifiable   
     experience (910 hours)in the care and supervision of four or more children; or
3)  Three years of satisfactory and verifiable experience (5,460 hours) and one of the following:
         - Complete six semester hours/nine quarter hours in associated course work; or
         - Forty clock hours of training in applicable course work
Computer knowledge required; Previous childcare program experience a plus.
Applicant must be a minimum age of 21.
This position involves some evening and weekend work.
Starting salary $33,779 plus full benefits.
