Investigators to Search Multiple Areas in Pueblo Related to Kelsie Schelling Case
11/7/2017—Pueblo Police Department (PPD) detectives, Colorado Bureau of Investigation (CBI) agents, and their public safety partners will be conducting searches in the Pueblo area in connection with the Kelsie Schelling cold case investigation beginning on November 8, 2017.
The searches will focus on areas near where Schelling was last known to be in southwestern Pueblo.
The PPD and CBI will not provide details about the elements of the searches. The new searches were prompted by recent leads generated as part of the ongoing cold case investigation.
“While we cannot offer any comment about this active investigation, we want the community to be aware that this case remains a priority for the Pueblo Police Department,” said Pueblo Police Chief Troy Davenport. “Our police department is committed to helping to bring justice to Kelsie and for her family.”
