Summer Internship with Colorado Bureau of Investigation Forensic Lab-PUEBLO

The Colorado Bureau of Investigation (CBI), Forensic Services - Pueblo laboratory will be hosting intern positions for the summer of 2019. This posting provides specifics on what to expect and how to apply for the positions:

 

Internship description

Interns will spend about 12-20 hours per week in the lab working on a project during the period of the internship. These positions are unpaid and the internship will run from approximately June 2019 through August 2019.

 

Eligibility

Candidates must be pursuing a natural science degree at an accredited university at either a junior or senior class level. Recent graduates will also be considered.

Preference will be given to candidates receiving class credit for this internship.

 

Application

The application process will begin with submission of the following:

-Cover letter- In the cover letter, please outline your qualifications as well as an internship project idea proposal. We may choose to allow you to do your project with a scientist or have you work on a project of our choosing.

-Resume or CV

-Copy of unofficial transcripts

-Letter of Recommendation from someone who can speak to your work ethic

Note: Applicant must be willing to be fingerprinted, successfully pass a polygraph and extensive background investigation, drug screen and psychological exam. Internship description

Interns will spend about 12-20 hours per week in the lab working on a project during the period of the internship. These positions are unpaid and the internship will run from approximately June 2019 through August 2019.

 

Eligibility

Candidates must be pursuing a degree at an accredited university at either a junior or senior class level.

A natural science degree is highly preferred but a criminal justice or other relevant degree may be considered. Preference will be given to candidates receiving class credit for this internship.

The Colorado Bureau of Investigation (CBI), Forensic Services - Grand Junction laboratory will be hosting intern positions for the Fall semester of 2019. This posting provides specifics on what to expect and how to apply for the positions:

 

Internship description

Interns will spend a minimum of 10 hours per week in the lab working on a project during the period of the internship. These positions are unpaid and the internship will run from approximately August 2019 to December 2019.  There may be an option to continue the internship during the Winter semester.

 

Eligibility

Candidates must be pursuing a natural science degree at an accredited university at either a junior or senior class level. Recent graduates will also be considered.

Preference will be given to candidates receiving class credit for this internship.
