The San Luis Valley Federal Bank is pleased to announce the 2019 Spirit of Giving program. The bank's Board of Directors has set aside $30,000 to be divided between local non-profit organizations. Bank members are entitled to cast one vote per account held with the bank for a non-profit organization of their choice. Each non-profit will receive a pro-rata share of the $30,000 based on the votes cast by the bank's members. Ballots will be available to members at the bank starting November 15. Members can also vote for an organization at the bank's website at www.slvfed.com. Voting will end on Monday, December 16.The Carnegie Libraries encourage all account holders to take part in the 2019 Spirit of Giving program by voting for their favorite non-profit, and in doing so helping them make our community a better place to live.
