Brighton Fire Rescue District is a full-service, all-hazard, fire and rescue agency. Brighton Fire Rescue District (BFRD) was established in 1888.

Brighton Fire Rescue District is a special district government agency providing fire and rescue services to approximately 50,000 people. We serve the following areas:

Staff
Brighton Fire Rescue District has fifty-two full-time firefighters who staff five stations, ten reserve firefighters, three administrative chief staff and six civilian staff members. Brighton Fire Rescue's district covers more than 150 square miles. Brighton Fire Rescue Firefighters work a 48 hours on 96 hours off schedule.
