Energy Advisors

Are you ready to start making energy efficiency improvements to your home but you don’t know where to start?

What is an Energy Advisor?

Many areas of Colorado are served by an energy coach, sometimes called an energy concierge. These qualified professionals provide a number of resources and can make energy efficiency upgrades to your home easier. Energy coaches can help you obtain an energy assessment of your home and walk through the results. They also can find contractors, review bids, navigate finance products, apply for your rebates, and verify that the work was done properly.

How much does an Energy Advisor cost?

In many parts of Colorado, the energy advising service is included in the price of an energy assessment, ranging from $60-$185.

Is there an Energy Advisor in my town?

To find a local energy advisor, please click the drop-down menu under Energy Advisors by County section (below). If you don’t see your county listed, contact your local electric utility or natural gas provider.

To find federal, state and most local incentives, the U.S. Department of Energy developed a database searchable by your zip code at www.dsireusa.org. This website also provides information on energy efficiency and renewable energy policies in Colorado. Since rebates can change constantly, it’s a good idea to check with your local energy coach.
