SUMMER HIRE NOTICE
The Academy Water and Sanitation District is looking to hire a part time (15-20 hours per week) temporary summer hire from June-August. The potential candidate will be required to meet these criteria:
- Must be at least 18yrs old
- Must be a US citizen with a valid drivers license
- Must have a flexible schedule
- Must be a good communicator both orally, and in written word
- Must be in good physical condition able to help with heavy lifting and help perform District construction and maintenance related duties
- Must be willing to work around dangerous equipment, and sewage facilities
- And most of all, must be reliable and responsive to work scheduling

The Donald Wescott Fire Station has cancelled all use of their community meeting room, where the District holds their monthly meeting, due to Coronavirus precaution.
The May 20, 2020, and all future board meetings until the pandemic restrictions are lifted, will be conducted using SKYPE.
ALL PARTICIPATION IN THIS PUBLIC MEETING, INCLUDING PUBLIC PARTICIPATION, WILL BE REMOTELY

DROP BOX BREAK IN 02/10/2020
The payment drop box next to the fire station has been broken into. The District is not replacing the box based upon advice from the Sheriff - payments may be made electronically or mailed in to the accountant.
CURB STOP LOCATIONS
The curb stop is the valve buried underground that allows water service to be shut off between the main supply line and your house. The District has engaged R&R Ditching to locate those difficult to find curb stops that we do not already have located. Over the next several weeks/months they will be entering yards (usually near the street) in an attempt to find the remaining curb stops.

NOTICE OF REGULAR BOARD MEETING
The regularly scheduled Board of Directors meetings are held the 3d Wednesday of each month at 6:00 pm at the Donald Wescott Fire Station at 15415 Gleneagle Dr., Colorado Springs, CO 80921. The meetings are open to the public.
The remaining meetings for 2020 will be held Jan 15, Feb 19, Mar 18, Apr 15, May 20, Jun 17, Jul 15, Aug 19, Sep 16, Oct 21, Nov 18, & Dec 16
