Responsible for maintaining, scheduling, and approving all staff training. Schedules work, trains and provides technical guidance to recovery technician. Assists staff in resolving difficult case problems and cases requiring fraud investigations. Compiles departmental budget, monitors revenues and expenditures. Compiles monthly and quarterly financial reports per state rules and regulations. Maintains and compiles child support collections/recovery statistical reports. Determines the appropriate method to conduct various investigations. Assesses from investigations intent and determines whether to pursue criminally or administratively. Prepares reports and documents for administrative hearings and reviews with attorney. Prepares complaint, warrants and affidavits for criminal cases and consults with district attorney. Contacts law enforcement agencies as needed for serving warrants and arrests. Performs advanced investigations on technical and involved fraud cases.
