Governor's Award for Agricultural Exporting
Agricultural exports are a critical element to Colorado’s agricultural economy. With year 2014 agricultural exports exceeding $2 billion, supporting and expanding Colorado’s agricultural exports is important for Colorado’s economy.
Companies and commodity groups who are working to maintain or increase their exports can be recognized with Governor’s Award for Agricultural Exporting during the Governor's Forum on Colorado Agriculture on February 22, 2017. During the Forum the Governor will recognize two companies for their export achievements. The first award will represent new-to-export initiatives and the second award will recognize the company or association that has continued to develop markets and maintain a focus on excelling in exports.
Applications for the 2017 Governor’s Award for Agricultural Exporting will be accepted until January 13, 2017.
Please send the application form and a letter telling your story, including how your company or association started exporting, demonstrated its commitment to international trade, what markets you sell to and how exporting has benefited your company or industry, employees and your community.
