Senecavirus A or Seneca Valley Virus (SVV)

Seneca Valley Virus (SVV) (also known as Senecavirus A) is a small, non-enveloped picornavirus that causes vesicular lesions in pigs that are clinically indistinguishable from foreign animals diseases such as Foot and Mouth Disease, Swine Vesicular Disease, Vesicular Stomatitis, and Vesicular Exanthema of Swine.
