NOTICE TO VOTERS

THE COORDINATED ELECTION WILL BE HELD NOVEMBER 5, 2019

-- The Voter Service and Polling Center is the Hinsdale County Clerk’s Office, 317 N Henson Street in Lake City.

-- The office hours are: Monday–Friday 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.; Saturday Nov. 2, 2019, 8:00 a.m.-Noon; Tuesday Nov. 5, 2019, 7:00 a.m.-7:00 p.m.

-- All elections are Mail Ballot Elections. The Clerk’s Office only mails ballots to active voters. If you are not sure you are an active voter please contact the Clerk’s Office at (970) 944-2225 ext 2. You must be active no later than Oct. 28, 2019, to receive a ballot by mail.

-- Logic and Accuracy Testing for voting equipment was held on October 8, 2019.


TRANSFER STATION UPDATE

NO ELECTRONICS ACCEPTED TEMPORARILY

Hinsdale County will be using a new vendor for electronics recycling. Until the new vendor takes over, for the time being the transfer station will not accept any electronics for recycling. This includes TVs, computer, DVD players, VCRs, etc. The electronics recycling program should be operation again in the near future.

Electronics MUST be recycled. They can not be disposed of in the trash in any way.
