EMERGENCY UPDATES

9:30 a.m. March 20
Access Update
Mandatory evacuations remain on County Road 20 beyond the ATV Staging area.
The Lake City Ski Hill remains closed. Properties adjacent to the Ski Hill remain evacuated.
The barricade at County Road 30 will be relocated to Wager Gulch at noon today. Residents are encouraged to use precautions typical for a high snow year.
The Monte Queen subdivision is now an Area of Concern. Residents can return home and are asked to monitor conditions, remain on pre-evacuation alert, and stay inside their homes.
All restrictions have been lifted throughout Bluff Street, Water Tower Hill (Alpine Street), and T-Mountain View Addition.
The Waterdog Trail remains closed.

Transfer Station Rate Changes

 Hinsdale County has increased rates to dispose of trash at the county transfer station. For a downloadable rate list, click here.

In addition, the transfer station is NO LONGER ACCEPTING CASH PAYMENTS. Acceptable forms of payment at the transfer station are by credit card or check. Transfer Station accounts are available by calling the Hinsdale County Administration Office at 970-944-2225. A $100 deposit is required to open an account, and accounts are billed monthly.
