Stratus™ is the claims data aggregation tool that is being offered to SIM practices to access patient and practice level data in one portal across participating payers. It saves time and makes it more efficient to coordinate patient care. The SIM office recognizes the benefits that Stratus™ can offer, which is why we will continue to provide one license per cohort-1 practice site at no cost through the end of 2018, and one license per cohort-2 and cohort-3 practices site at no cost through June 2019. As you may have noticed, we have updated this site to include an FAQ, a license activation link, contact information, upcoming training dates, as well as training resources. We will be adding more information and resources over the next few months so please check back regularly.

Practices were sent a link to an online form to request a license, which should only take a few minutes to complete. Additionally, before Medicare data can be displayed in Stratus™, a Business Associates Agreement (BAA) must be signed by a practice representative. To obtain a BAA, please reach out to Matt Suppin, strategic client executive for Best Doctors, email@example.com. It is important to note that signing a BAA does not guarantee the practice will receive Medicare data, but the BAA is required for Best Doctors to request and display the Medicare data to your practice. If a practice does not have Medicare data in Stratus this does not exclude them from using Stratus.
Practices should check with payer representatives about whether you will receive data from them through Stratus™. Please also work with your SIM-funded practice transformation organizations to ensure that you are capitalizing on this investment in your practice’s ability to use data to inform practice transformation activities and negotiate with health plans. Your SIM practice facilitator can help your practice use the Stratus™ tool and has received special training to boost his or her knowledge.

September 8, 2018: Cigna, Medicaid, United, Anthem, Medicare (for SIM/CPC+ practice only), and Rocky Mountain Health Plans claims data were updated for the practices that they support with Stratus™. The reporting period for these claims is 06/01/2017-05/31/2018.
Practices participating in Cohort-3 are able to activate Stratus™ licenses, but may not see any data until the next scheduled refresh on 11/30. License activation can take up to two weeks, and we encourage practices to submit a Stratus™ license request to be able to access the tool prior to the November refresh.
November 30, 2018: Next scheduled refresh for claims data in Stratus™. In addition to Anthem, United, Rocky, Medicaid, and Cigna claims data, Medicare data for SIM-only practices is schedule to be refreshed at the end of November. If we experience any issues with this upcoming refresh, Stratus™ license holders will be notified via email.

Stratus training webinar – October 24
Best Doctors will be offering a Stratus™ training webinar for practice transformation organizations (PTOs) and SIM practices in cohorts 1, 2, and 3 on October 24 from 12-1 PM MST. Regardless of your level of experience using Stratus™, this training is an opportunity to learn how to use Stratus™ to turn data into actionable information.
Stratus™ license holders will receive an email from Best Doctors with more information about how to attend. If you did not receive an email, and would like to participate in this training opportunity, please reach out to Elizabeth Mattes with the SIM office, Elizabeth.firstname.lastname@example.org.
As a friendly reminder, Stratus™ licenses will be disabled after a period of time without activity. If your account has been disabled due to activity, it can quickly be resolved by contacting the help desk. You should receive an alert that states your account has been disabled due to inactivity, which includes a link to the help desk page. Once you submit a ticket, your license should be reactivated within 24 hours.
