Stratus™ is the claims data aggregation tool that is being offered to SIM practices to access patient and practice level data in one portal across participating payers in order to analyze data, identify potential cost savings, and high-utilizers. The SIM office and payers have invested in this resource with the intention that the tool be used to support practice-level transformation, at both a care delivery and business practice level. Stratus™ is an interactive claims data aggregation tool, which allows providers to filter down to practice and patient level data and build custom reports. The data within Stratus™ is scheduled to be updated quarterly and is submitted to Best Doctors (Teladoc) directly from payers, or from the All Payer Claims Database (APCD). Currently, six payers are supporting the Stratus™ data aggregation tool, including Medicaid, Medicare, Anthem, Cigna, United, and Rocky Mountain Health Plans. The data that payers are submitting to Stratus™ are based on their proprietary attribution methodologies. If you have questions regarding the data that is available within Stratus™, please reach out to your payer representatives, which can be found on your SIM welcome letter.
If you have questions about Stratus, please reach out to Elizabeth Mattes with the SIM office (elizabeth.mattes@state.co.us)
The Milliman cost and utilization reports are statics reports and utilizes practice level claims data itemized by line of business (Medicare, Medicaid, commercial) to provides insights into nine SIM cost and utilization metrics. The data reflected in the cost and utilization reports comes from the APCD and encompasses all payers. These reports utilize the SIM standard attribution methodology, and therefore will differ from the data within the Stratus™ tool. These reports are scheduled to be updated quarterly and can be accessed via the SPLIT tool.
If you have questions about the Milliman cost and utilization reports, please reach out to Nathan Drashner with the SIM office (nathan.drashner@state.co.us) or Katie Matthews with Milliman (Katie.Matthews@milliman.com)
