The purpose of the Advocates Communication (AdCom) meeting is to ensure ongoing, transparent, and collaborative communication between the Department and the advocacy stakeholders.
The Joint Department and Advocates meetings occur quarterly during January, April, July and October
NOTE: The advocacy stakeholders hold their own meetings during February, March, May, June, August, September, November and December. These meetings are not sponsored by the Department.

There are no defined criteria for attending the meeting. All members of the public interested in issues related to services and supports for individuals with Intellectual or Developmental Disabilities and their families, are welcome to attend.
Reasonable accommodations for the meetings will be provided upon request for persons with disabilities. Please contact John Barry at John.R.Barry@state.co.us or (303) 866-3173 at least one week prior to the scheduled meeting if you need special arrangements.
