Gov. Polis appoints new district court judge in the 13th Judicial District

DENVER — Gov. Jared Polis today announced the appointment of Stephanie M.G. Gagliano of Fort Morgan as a District Court Judge in the 13th Judicial District to fill a position created by Senate Bill 19-043.

 

Ms. Gagliano owns Gagliano Law, LLC, a firm that she established in 2012.  She currently contracts with the City of Sterling as its prosecuting attorney, the Town of Otis as its municipal court judge, the Town of Log Lane Village as its municipal court judge, the City of Brush as its associate municipal court judge, and the Office of Respondent Parent Counsel representing indigent parents in dependency and neglect proceedings. Previously, she practiced with Grogins & Grogins (2000-2001); Paison & Associates, LLP (2001-2002); Arnold, Ross and Singer LLP (2002-2004); Yuma County Department of Human Services (2008-2010); Gagliano & Matuszczak, LLC (2005-2012); and the Office of Alternate Defense Counsel (2009-2016).  Gagliano earned her B.A. from Metropolitan State University in 1994 and her J.D. from New York Law School in 2000.

 

Gagliano’s appointment is effective July 1, 2019.
