DENVER — Wednesday, July 26, 2017 — Gov. John Hickenlooper today, along with Ohio Governor John Kasich, brought together a bipartisan group of 10 governors in sending a letter to Senate leadership, voicing their concerns with the health care bill currently under review by the U.S. Senate.

In the letter, the governors call upon the Senate “to reject efforts to amend the bill into a ‘skinny repeal,’ which is expected to accelerate health plans leaving the individual market, increase premiums, and result in fewer Americans having access to coverage.” In Colorado, hundreds of thousands risk losing their coverage if the Senate approves the House-passed American Health Care Act.
