DENVER — Tuesday, Sept. 11, 2018 — Gov. John Hickenlooper today appointed Ryan L. Kamada as a district court judge in the 19th Judicial District.

Kamada serves as a District Court Magistrate in the 19th Judicial District, a position he has held since 2015. His docket consists primarily of domestic relations, dependency and neglect, adoption, paternity, and contempt matters. Previously, he was a Contract Attorney with the Office of the Child’s Representative (2011-2015); a Partner with Grant, Hoffman & Kamada, PC (2009-2015); and an Associate with Grant-Dickson, LLC (2005-2009). Kamada earned his B.S. from the Colorado School of Mines in 2002 and his J.D. from the University of Denver Sturm College of Law in 2005.

Kamada’s appointment is effective Jan. 8, 2019.
