DENVER — Monday, Nov. 30, 2015 — Gov. John Hickenlooper today announced his appointments of Shay Whitaker and Peter Michaelson to serve as district court judges in the 18th Judicial District (Arapahoe, Douglas, Elbert and Lincoln counties). The vacancies were created by the retirements of the Honorable Angela Arkin and the Honorable Timothy Fasing.

DENVER — Saturday, Nov. 28, 2015 — Gov. John Hickenlooper today ordered flags be lowered to half-staff immediately on all public buildings statewide as a mark of respect for the victims of the shootings in Colorado Springs yesterday. Flags should remain lowered until further notice.
