Chief Operations Officer
Kristin Rozansky was appointed as DPA’s Chief Operations Officer in November 2012. Before serving in this capacity, she was the Director of the State Personnel Board, where she had previously served as an Administrative Law Judge.
Kristin has been dedicated to government service for the majority of her legal career. In addition to working for the State Personnel Board, she was appointed to the City and County of Denver’s Career Services Board in 2002 by then-Mayor Wellington Webb. Prior to her 12-plus years with the State Personnel Board, Kristin worked for the Colorado Department of Law as an Assistant Attorney General where she represented the State Personnel Board, the State Board of Accountancy and other State agencies in various legal matters.
Kristin graduated from Colorado State University with a bachelor’s degree in social work and from the University of Colorado School of Law with a juris doctorate. During her legal education, she clerked for both the Colorado Municipal League and the Jefferson County Attorney.
Kristin is a board member and past chair of the Alumni Board of the University of Colorado (2007-present). She is also a board member of the Colorado Bar Association Continuing Legal Education (2001-present). Kristin was a 2004 Distinguished Recent Alumni of the University of Colorado School of Law.
She is married, has two children and lives in Denver.
