How Can We Help You?

The Office for Victims Programs (OVP) houses a series of programs to support the lives of crime victims. Some of these programs – programs such as Crime Victim Service Funds, Victim Compensation, Local VALE and the Sexual Assault Program – provide indirect support.

Other programs such as the Victim Rights Act Compliance Program work directly with crime victims and agencies to ensure the rights of crime victims are upheld.

If you are a crime victim and are searching for resources, visit Crime Victim Resources

OVP also hosts programs that provide statewide guidance on how best to serve specific victim populations:

  • The Colorado Human Trafficking Council (Council) brings together a statewide group of stakeholders who are dedicated to enhancing Colorado's response to human trafficking. To receive monthly updates about the anti-trafficking field in Colorado, please subscribe to the Anti-Trafficking Insider
  • The Toolkit for Response Advocates in Colorado (TRAC) helps victim advocates and other emergency responders develop tools, templates and guidelines for their community to effectively respond to crime victims following a major criminal incident.
