SBHC funding opportunities
The School-Based Health Center (SBHC) Program at the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment (CDPHE) provides funding to plan, start and operate school-based health centers in Colorado schools. To establish and operate a sustainable school-based health center, strong collaborations between the school, school district, health organizations and the community (including youth and parents) are crucial. Each community has unique priorities, needs and resources that must be understood and incorporated into the business model for a SBHC.
