This branch works collaboratively on evidence-based efforts to improve the health of all Colorado children, youth, women and families.
This branch addresses health care workforce, planning and prevention needs in underserved communities.
Health Promotion and Chronic Disease Prevention
This branch improves health through evidence-based and culturally responsive strategies that prevent, postpone and treat chronic disease.

This branch facilitates a continuum of health care services, education and support through federal, state and private funding opportunities for school-based, sexual and women’s health services.

Violence and Injury Prevention — Mental Health Promotion
This branch coordinates state and local efforts to prevent unintentional and intentional injury and violence. The branch also works to promote mental health and prevent substance abuse through policy, public awareness, training, funding and system change.
