The U.S. GSA manages the Denver Federal Center (DFC) that consists of a 623-acre campus, occupied by 28 federal agencies in 44 federal buildings.
  • Implemented a commercial organic waste collection service for 6 buildings on the DFC campus that comprises of 28 occupied facilities.  From May 2015 through June 2016 the DFC has composted over 13 tons of material.
  • Implemented an improved Green Cleaning program that eliminates the use of hazardous chemicals in occupied facilities and achieves a 99% water reduction.
  • The DFC conserved 23,071 mmbtu's of natural gas for 2015, which equates to a 14% decrease in usage.
