CCPD Grant Program Review Committee
The CCPD Review Committee oversees the strategic planning and funding recommendations for the Cancer, Cardiovascular and Chronic Pulmonary Disease (CCPD) Grants Program.
Vacancy announcement - deadline extended
The CCPD Grants Program, on behalf of the Colorado Board of Health, is currently seeking applications from professionals to serve on the statutorily mandated review committee in the following positions:
- Cardiovascular disease professional.
- Cancer professional.
- Public health professional.
Members will serve a three-year term from August 2020 to July 2023. All applicants must submit:
- An application form.
- Resume or curriculum vitae.
- Statement of interest.
- A brief biography.
Applications are due at 5 p.m., Friday, July 31, 2020. Applicants who reside outside of the Denver metro area and particularly in rural areas of the state are strongly encouraged to apply. Please see the vacancy announcement and application form for more details.

The June CCPD Review Committee meeting has been CANCELED and the July 10 meeting has also been CANCELED. The next CCPD Review Committee meeting will be held on Friday, August 14 from 1-4 p.m. and conducted via Zoom.

The committee meets on the second Friday of each month from 1 to 4 p.m. Committee meetings are open to the public.

About the CCPD Review Committee
A 16-member working advisory board develops funding priorities, reviews grant applications and makes recommendations to the Board of Health for the competitive grants program.
Volunteer members are appointed by the Board of Health, the Legislature and CDPHE's executive director, and serve a three-year term.
Created in 2005 by Amendment 35 with the responsibility for "overseeing program strategies and activities and ensuring compliance with Section 25-20.5-302" of the Colorado Revised Statutes (CRS 25-20.5-303 ).
