CDC and AAP Urge Parents and Health Care Providers to Continue Childhood Well Visits and Immunizations

Both the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) and CDC recommend parents continue to vaccinate their children according to the CDC-recommended schedule. The AAP has shared guidance with its pediatricians on how to manage well child visits as well as sick visits in light of COVID-19 outbreaks. CDC has recommended that, if doctor's offices cannot provide well visits for all of their patients at this time, they should prioritize infants and children up to 24 months of age. Please visit the CDC for more information.
