SNAP

The Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) is part of a federal nutrition program to help low-income households purchase food. It provides a monthly benefit that helps families and individuals buy the food they need for good health.

SNAP-Ed

SNAP-Ed provides nutrition education for SNAP recipients. SNAP-Ed teaches participants how to buy and prepare healthy foods on a budget, motivates people to increase physical activity, and makes positive and healthy changes in the environments where families live.

P-EBT

The Pandemic Electronic Benefit Transfer (P-EBT) program is a federal program created to provide additional funds for families to buy food when schools were closed or on a remote or hybrid learning model because of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Food distribution

Food Distribution Programs (FDP) work directly with households in need of food assistance. FDP includes the Commodity Supplemental Food Program, The Emergency Food Assistance Program, the National School Lunch Program, and the Child and Adult Care Food Program.
