50 year old Rueben Romero lived in Denver's Lincoln Park Neighborhood. During the early morning hours of Novermber 8, 1975, a passerby found him lying on the sidewalk. Rueben had suffered from a head injury and never regained consciousness after he was transported to a local hospital. Mr. Romero eventually succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead on January 27, 1976. Due to the severity of Rueben Romero's injuries, this case was investigated as a homicide.
