About this Case:

On April 6, 2004, around midnight Denver Police Officers responded to the 3600 block of Kearny Street on a report of a shooting. Upon arrival officers located 22 year old James Q. Nunley, suffering from a gunshot wound to the chest. Mr. Nunley was transported to the Denver Health Medical Center where he died as a result of his injuries. Investigation revealed Mr. Nunley was outside his home when an unknown male was seen shooting at him. Mr. Nunley was struck by the gunfire and fell to the ground.
