On September 14, 2007, 56 year old John Northrup was reported missing. Investigation revealed Mr. Northup had already been gone from Denver, Colorado for about two months. Mr. Northup called a witness on July 25, 2007 and told her he was in New York, "re-thinking" his life after a recent criminal conviction. Mr. Northup has not been seen or heard from since.
