On September 5, 1980, 33 year old Eugene "Gene" Magnan was working as an electrician. On the night of September 5, 1980, he was a patron at the White Horse Bar. A large fight broke out at closing time as people were leaving the bar. As Mr. Magnan was walking outside to the parking lot, an unknown male suspect shot and killed him.
