About this Case:
On August 9, 2007 at around 10:50 p.m., officers responded on a call of a shooting at East Colfax Avenue and Gaylord Street, the Popeye's Chicken Restaurant. Witnesses observed two males talking in the parking lot next to the drive-through. During this conversation, one of the males produced a handgun and shot the victim, Charles Jackson several times. The suspect then fled the scene in a vehicle. When officers arrived they found Charles laying next to the drive-through suffering from gunshot wounds.
