Case solved according to NamUs. Ryan Weiter ran away from his family's home in Conifer in 1997, when he was 16. He was apparently drawn to life on the streets, or more specifically, life riding the rails. Weiter originally went to San Francisco, then hitchhiked to Southern California and lived on the streets in Hollywood. He was known to be in Klamath County, Oregon in 2001, and his last known location was in 2002, in Madison, Wisconsin. Weiter, born in 1981, is white, 5 foot 6 inches tall, 130 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes. He has a vertical tattoo of railroad tracks on his chin and has been known to wear his hair in a punk style. He has also been using the name James Perkins.
