About this Case:
On October 12, 2007, Dawan Childress was dropped off at Saint Joseph Hospital. Witnesses related that Dawan and the man who dropped him off at the hospital were in the 2000 block of East 23rd Avenue and were involved in an altercation with an unknown person(s) who then shot at them. During the shooting, Dawan received multiple gunshot wounds. The victim died as a result of his injuries.
