About this Case:
On March 30, 2008, officers were called to an alley on the 200 block of Inca Street to assist on a report of a man down. Upon arrival, officers located 49 year old John Chavez, who was suffering from significant head wounds. Due to the extensive injuries, Mr. Chavez was immediately transported to a local hospital where he died as a result of the blunt force trauma he received to his skull.
