About this Case:

In August 15, 1933, 22 year old Joseph Halpern was camping with friends in Rocky Mountain National Park. Halpern was last seen leaving the campsite alone to climb to Taylor Peak. He was wearing a light blue shirt, light brown trousers, and hiking shoes. Unsubstantiated reports place him in Phoenix, AZ in December of 1934, with the Lewis Brothers Circus in Michigan in the summer of 1935, or traveling with CCC near Alliance, Nebraska in May of 1935.He may have used the alias Louis Hollenbuck and was called "teacher" by co-workers. He was also a computer at the Aberdeen Proving Grounds in 1932. Anyone with information regarding this case is asked to please contact the Colorado Bureau of Investigation.
