About this Case:
Niece (Fern S. Kashiwabara) called from Hawaii to report that her uncle, Walter Kimoto, sent her a letter advising that because of his age and declining health, he was going to take his "last hike into the woods". Mr. Kimoto closed bank accounts and gave his car away prior to sending this letter. He was likely suicidal and has not been seen or heard from since.
