90 year old Barbara Zimmerman lived alone in her Capital Hill apartment. On August 9, 1981, when friends and family had not heard from Ms. Zimmerman for a few days they became concerned about her welfare. A check of Ms. Zimmerman's apartment was conducted at which time she was found deceased. The cause of death was ruled as asphyxiation.
