About this Case:

On the evening of June 9, 1975, 26 year old Bruce Wrede and his friend were confronted by multiple suspects at their Capitol Hill apartment in what appeared to be a robbery attempt. One of the suspects was armed with a weapon and shot Bruce Wrede after he made efforts to prevent the robbery; the unknown assailant fled from the scene. Bruce Wrede was immediately transported from the scene to a local hospital, but died shortly after arriving.
