Food Systems Council

For more information, visit the Colorado Food Systems Advisory Council (CO-FSAC) website at www.cofoodsystemscouncil.org.

The CO-FSAC was established through Senate Bill 10-106 and seated in October 2010 by Governor Ritter. The COFSAC charge is to advance recommendations that strengthen healthy food access for all Coloradans through Colorado agriculture and local food systems and economies.

The Council is created as an advisory committee to make recommendations to the General Assembly and to the appropriate regulatory agencies, not to make policy.
