Integrated Medical Care Training Modules Are Available
The Office of Behavioral Health, in collaboration with the Colorado State Innovation Model (SIM)* and the University of Colorado, Dept. of Family Medicine, has created a series of integrated medical care and behavioral health training modules. These modules are designed to help patient-care team members understand and work with whole-patient health needs, and how to work in an integrated care setting. The module content is designed to demonstrate how teams can work collaboratively to integrate both medical and behavioral health perspectives, and the expertise of all team members. Topics such as Substance Use Disorders, Opioids, Psychological Trauma, and Seniors Behavioral Health Issues are addressed. Please use the below link to Register and access the modules. The Registration Code is "SIM".
