Capital plan
In 2008 the Town of Silverton received grant money from the Department of Local Affairs to create the first Capital Improvement Plan for the Town.A Capital Improvement Plan is a prioritized inventory of the Town's public infrastructure such as roads, parks, buildings, water lines, and sewer treatement plans as examples. The Capital Improvement Plan identifies repairs, replacement, or necessary new construction and helps to prioritize these future projects. This plan will help the current and future Town Boards determine to best to balance maintenance of public facilities with budgets, and will help the community plan for major future projects well in advance.
The Capital Improvement Plan is still being developed, and will be made available on this website as soon as it is finalized.
