Becoming involved in Colorado Cares Day allows you to be involved in a statewide effort to better your corner of the world. Whether that means hosting a service project to address a need you see in the community or becoming involved in a project that focuses on an area you feel strongly about

Some project ideas include recruiting and training volunteers to be mentors or tutors, providing job readiness training by teaching resume writing or interview skills, providing food assistance by bringing meals to homebound neighbors or organizing a food donation drive, improving childrenís quality of life by building a playground or running a day camp for children with working parents and improving the community by removing graffiti from a building or by making a public space accessible for the disabled neighbors.

On this day, Coloradans of all ages will come together through service projects that strengthen communities, empower individuals, bridge barriers and create solutions.
