If a business premise has a boiler, a license and inspection must be obtained from the Boiler Inspection Office. There is an $25 yearly fee in addition to any inspection fees that may be required.
This requirement covers and includes: - heating boilers - hot water heaters greater than 200,000 BTU's - steam boilers - closed system swimming pools - apartments with 6 or more units - restaurants

Certificate of inspection must be displayed near the boiler.
